Jurassic World Studio Asked Bryce Dallas Howard To Lose Weight, Director Rejected The Request

Actor Bryce Dallas Howard recently had her third outing in the Jurassic World franchise this summer and it might have been the most tense of the trilogy. Talking to British lifestyle site Metro, Howard revealed she was asked to lose weight before shooting Jurassic World Dominion.

Howard said that her weight has often been a topic of discussion among studio executives and the conversation came up again before shooting Dominion. She thanks director Colin Trevorrow for turning down the studio’s demand.

“On the third movie, it was actually because there were so many women cast, it was something that Colin felt very strongly about in terms of protecting me…because the conversation came up again,” Howard explained.

“He was like, ‘there are lots of different kinds of women on this planet and there are lots of different kinds of women in our film’ and I got to do so many stunts that wouldn’t have been possible if I had been dieting,” she continued.

Kristen Stewart Would Have Made Twilight's Bella Break Up With Edward Immediately

It’s almost been 20 years since the first Twilight book by Stephenie Meyer hit bookshelves. The film series that adapted the story of Bella Swan and the macabre love triangle became worldwide hits and forever added “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob” into our vocabulary.

Despite the vitriol the series got from critics, nobody was probably more aware of how ill-written the series was than stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart who played Edward and Bella throughout the films. Pattinson notoriously sliced the films apart while on the DVD commentary and even now Stewart wishes she could have saved Bella from her vampire lover.

On a recent episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Stewart says she’s over the character but has plenty of love for Bella. Host Amanda Hirsch presented how she saw that Bella was too desperate to be with Edward, but Stewart wasn’t having any of it.

“Yeah, but, he was trying to sort of control whether or not she made choices for herself,” …

Mad Max Spinoff Furiosa- How Anya Taylor-Joy Got The Role

Anya Taylor-Joy has been cast as Furiosa in the upcoming Mad Max prequel movie, and now director George Miller has spoken about how it all came together, including her audition.

Miller told Empire that he knew about Taylor-Joy before casting her, but he had never seen her in a movie until he saw her in Edgar Wright’s upcoming movie Last Night in Soho. “I remember thinking, ‘Gee, she’s interesting,” Miller said.

Miller and Wright conducted the interview together, and Miller said he recalls saying to Wright, “I’m looking for someone to cast as Furiosa,’ and I barely got the sentence out before you said, ‘Don’t go any further, she’s great, she’s gonna be huge. She’s fantastic to work with.'”

For Taylor-Joy’s audition for Furiosa, Miller asked her to read something to camera, and this was the “mad as hell” speech from 1976’s Network.

“Apart from the brilliance of the writing, it’s a piece that can be done to camera. It doesn’t need an acting partner,” Miller sai…

CoD- Warzone Will Get A Brand-New Map This Year With New Anti-Cheat

Confirming rumors, Activision has officially announced that Call of Duty: Warzone will get a brand-new map later this year, presumably around the time that Call of Duty: Vanguard launches this November. This is not a modest redesign of the existing Verdansk that has been in place since the game launched in March 2020 but instead is an all-new environment.

Raven Software, which is leading development on Warzone, is spearheading development of the new map. This map uses the same technology as the rest of Vanguard, which means it runs on the upgraded version of the IW engine. The benefit here is that the game’s guns and mechanics should feel and operate the same when switching between Vanguard’s other modes and Warzone. This is a key difference between Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, which run on different engines and have different features and functionality.

All battle pass content earned in Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, Vanguard, and Warzone wil…
