Stephen King Books Are Buy Two, Get One Free At Target

Reading your way through a stack of new Steven King novels is a great way to beat the summer heat, and right now, almost every one of his books is eligible for Target’s big Buy Two, Get One Free deal for Circle Week. Even better, many of the books are also discounted in addition to the B2G1 promo, meaning you could get quite a bit of mid-summer reading material for cheap. That said, if you only want one or two books, Target’s B2G1 deal lets you mix and match with eligible products from other categories, including games, board games, music, and more. Amazon is also hosting a B2G1 free sale ahead of Prime Day.

To cash in on the offer, you’ll need to be a Target Circle member. Signing up is entirely free and takes just a few minutes. Once you’ve become a member, simply add two eligible items to your cart. The lowest-priced item of the two will automatically see the discount.

If you’re thinking of reading King’s iconic (and lengthy) Dark Tower series, consider picking up The…

Jurassic World Studio Asked Bryce Dallas Howard To Lose Weight, Director Rejected The Request

Actor Bryce Dallas Howard recently had her third outing in the Jurassic World franchise this summer and it might have been the most tense of the trilogy. Talking to British lifestyle site Metro, Howard revealed she was asked to lose weight before shooting Jurassic World Dominion.

Howard said that her weight has often been a topic of discussion among studio executives and the conversation came up again before shooting Dominion. She thanks director Colin Trevorrow for turning down the studio’s demand.

“On the third movie, it was actually because there were so many women cast, it was something that Colin felt very strongly about in terms of protecting me…because the conversation came up again,” Howard explained.

“He was like, ‘there are lots of different kinds of women on this planet and there are lots of different kinds of women in our film’ and I got to do so many stunts that wouldn’t have been possible if I had been dieting,” she continued.

This wasn’t th…

Kristen Stewart Would Have Made Twilight's Bella Break Up With Edward Immediately

It’s almost been 20 years since the first Twilight book by Stephenie Meyer hit bookshelves. The film series that adapted the story of Bella Swan and the macabre love triangle became worldwide hits and forever added “Team Edward” and “Team Jacob” into our vocabulary.

Despite the vitriol the series got from critics, nobody was probably more aware of how ill-written the series was than stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart who played Edward and Bella throughout the films. Pattinson notoriously sliced the films apart while on the DVD commentary and even now Stewart wishes she could have saved Bella from her vampire lover.

On a recent episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Stewart says she’s over the character but has plenty of love for Bella. Host Amanda Hirsch presented how she saw that Bella was too desperate to be with Edward, but Stewart wasn’t having any of it.

“Yeah, but, he was trying to sort of control whether or not she made choices for herself,” …

Among Us Future Plans Include New Roles, New Map, Better Matchmaking, More

Developer InnerSloth has unveiled the 2023 roadmap for Among Us, which includes details on new content, features, and more.

Sharing in a recent blog post, InnerSloth confirmed that the first thing it will be focusing on is adding multiple patches to the multiplayer game’s UI and UX, specifically by updating the in-game store to be better to navigate, making account merging easier, as well as finding a better way of reporting toxic players. Although this is a big priority, the roadmap doesn’t feature a release date for these changes, only that they’re “coming soon.”

Probably the most notable update to come this year is a brand-new map. Details on map 5 are currently still under wraps, but InnerSloth did say that it’ll have new tasks, new cosmetics, and more hidden surprises. Players can expect the map to arrive “later in the year.”

With the recent release of Hide n Seek mode, the developer is looking to add improved matchmaking in order for players to find games fas…
